Leave a Gift in Your Will
Our guests, those who visit our Centre each day seeking support, are at the heart of everything we do. We are grateful to all our supporters who give so generously to ensure:
- no one who visits the Capuchin Day Centre goes hungry,
- guest wellbeing is enhanced through access to essential hygiene and healthcare services, and
- the impact of homelessness and food poverty on young lives is minimised through access to nutritious meals and practical supports in early childhood.
Demand for our services at The Capuchin Day Centre has increased and evolved over the years. We want to continue to be here to serve our community of guests for as long as we are needed and in the ways that we can make the greatest positive impact in their lives. We cannot do that without your kind support.
The impact of your legacy
Including a gift in your Will to The Capuchin Day Centre will help us continue to be there for our guests when they need us most and to adapt to their changing needs.
It is a powerful expression of your kindness that will be felt by many long into the future.
You could help provide nutritious meals and food parcels for homeless people and families experiencing food poverty. You could help children return to school equipped with the necessities that give them the best chance at participating in class and reaching their potential.
This kind of help, given when it is most needed can be a lifeline for those who receive it.
How to make a gift in your Will
There are many ways to make a gift in your Will – from leaving a specific sum of money to setting aside a percentage of the value of your estate. It is your choice and we recommend that you consult with a solicitor who can give you more information and help you to make a Will or to change your existing Will.
We understand that looking after family and friends is your priority. Once they are taken care of, a gift of even a small percentage of your estate is a powerful way to support a cause that matters to you – like helping to ensure that no-one goes hungry.
